The GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion Returns To ROH!

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Ring of Honor officials, in conjunction with Kensuke Office, are proud to announce the ROH return of the current GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Katsuhiko Nakajima. On February 11th, Nakajima squared off with KENTA at the Kensuke Office event held at Korakuen Hall and after nearly forty minutes of hard hitting action, the challenger was able to capture the title from the champion.

Now, on April 3rd and 4th, Nakajima will make his return to ROH competition for the first time in 2009 as part of the pair of huge events taking place in Houston, TX. In each of his previous appearances in ROH, Nakajima made quite an impression on the fans and the members of the ROH locker room. At “Glory by Honor VII”, Nakajima actually challenged Bryan Danielson for the GHC Jr. Title he now holds in an epic contest. While at “All Star Extravaganza IV” and “Final Battle 2008” he and Kensuke Sasaki made an impact on the chests and faces of Roderick Strong & Brent Albright and the Briscoes respectively.

Nakajima’s matches will be made official in the coming weeks so stay tuned to www.rohwrestling.com for upcoming Newswires and announcements. Tickets are also available for both April 3rd and 4th with special sale pricing in effect until Wednesday, February 18th at noon EST.

February 17th Newswire

February 17th: In case you missed the story on the main page this morning, current GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion, Katsuhiko Nakajima, will return to ROH for the two huge events taking place April 3 and 4 in Houston, TX! ROH officials are excited to once again work with the Kensuke Office and have Nakajima back in the fold, and we’re currently working to finalize his matches for that weekend. We will have those and more announcements regarding our debut in Houston in the coming weeks right here in the Newswire!

February 17th: A grudge tag team match has been signed for Danbury! The latest ROH Videowire is up (http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=d50WuTgadSU), and Kevin Steen has had a chance to see the footage of the attack on his partner, El Generico. Steen has demanded a match with Sweet-N-Sour Incorporated for February 27th in Danbury even though he knows Generico will not be able to compete due to a knee injury. Davey Richards, the one who carried out the brutality at the behest of Larry Sweeney, is out of the country. But that hasn’t deterred Steen. He commented, “Give me Edwards; give me Hero; hell, give me Sweeney! They’ve got to pay!” Sweeney’s American Wolves love to target the knees, and that commonality gave Steen all he needed to reach out for a partner. Kevin Steen will team with Jay Briscoe on February 27 against Sweet-n-Sour members Eddie Edwards and the returning Chris Hero! Will they exact a measure of revenge for their fallen compatriots?

February 17th: ROH is happy to announce the following competitors will be on hand in suburban Pittsburgh on March 20 and in New York City for ROH’s 7th Anniversary Celebration on March 21: Current ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness, “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, and Tyler Black. Already announced were “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush and D’Lo Brown (3/21 only)! Tickets for both events are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com. More names and matches will be announced in upcoming Newswires!

February 17th: The "Triple Savings Sale" has been held over for an additional 24 hours. Full details can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2151. This is a great chance to save on tickets for all upcoming events.

February 17th: The first Television Main Events in ROH history have been signed. ROH officials and the Booking Committee went over the potential matchups, narrowing them down to what will become the first 6 Television Main Events in company history. ROH officials then had to decide which of those 6 matches should receive the honor of “main eventing” the very first televised hour of ROH action. Thoughtful consideration was given to a number of factors including company longevity, overall standing in the industry, and championship status. In the end, ROH officials decided to go outside the box a bit and give the fans a match that everyone has been waiting for since the events that took place at Final Battle last December. On February 28th in Philadelphia the one-on-one encounter has been signed. In the very first TV Main Event in company history Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black will stand across the ring from each other with the eyes of the wrestling world upon them. The war has just begun. Don’t miss out; tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com. You don’t want to wait for the program to air on HDNet, be there live and witness hatred at its highest level!

February 17th: In the next Newswire we’ll announce the first matchups for St. Louis and Indianapolis as well as the second of the first 6 TV Main Events in ROH history!

Vengeance Delayed

Thursday, February 19, 2009

It was supposed to happen in Edison, NJ at the show that has since come to be called “Injustice II”. Tyler Black was supposed to get revenge on his former Age of the Fall ally, Jimmy Jacobs, on January 17th. That was the plan, but you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men…

Instead Jacobs ended up on the losing end of a three way match with Austin Aries and Jay Briscoe. And Tyler, well Tyler ended up with an even bigger opportunity than the one he expected to have when he walked into the Inman. Due to the actions of Aries earlier in the evening, it was ruled that Tyler Black (due to his non-title victory at “Full Circle”) would face Nigel McGuinness for the ROH World Title in the main event.

It was Black’s first opportunity since the show-stealing Four Corner Survival at “Death Before Dishonor VI” and, in part due to Jacobs involvement, it was an opportunity stolen right out from underneath him. By now the events of that New Jersey night are well known; suffice to say that a certain amount of shenanigans resulted in Black being shorted in his title shot. And while the culprits are too numerous to just place blame on one man, it was Jacobs’ distraction that started the roller coaster ride.

Of course revenge was desired, and a small measure of it was gained at the “Caged Collision” Pay Per View taping when Black and Jacobs, as well as Aries and Bryan Danielson, competed in a #1 Contender’s Match. On that night, Black was able to secure the victory by pinning his former tag team partner and thusly become the new top contender to Nigel’s World Title.

At “Proving Ground, Night 2”, Black and Jacobs stepped into the ring once again, this time with allies at their side. Jacobs with Delirious as his partner, and Black with The Necro Butcher: it was a demented Age of the Fall reunion that ended via disqualification. No satisfaction was to be found in Orlando for Tyler Black, nor any sense of closure. But in the Video Wires that followed, each man made it clear that they had a purpose. Black’s intent was to sit on his title shot with the knowledge that he would never get a fair shake as long as Jacobs was around to interfere. Jacobs plan: to eradicate Tyler for betraying their cause.

Now the opportunity for each man to make good on their promises is at hand, and in an historic setting to boot. Not only can Black and Jacobs end their bitter rivalry at the legendary Arena on February 28th, but they can do so on the platform of ROH’s first ever TV taping for an HDNet broadcast. It should be considered an honor to be given that position, but this fight is possibly as far from honorable as it gets. From the closest of allies, to tag team champions, and now hated enemies, the story of Black and Jacobs will come to a head on the grandest stage ROH could offer. It will be intense, and it will be violent, but will anything ever really be settled between these two? Some hates never die, and this may be one of those.

February 20th Newswire

February 20th: The legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair is going to get one hell of an introduction to Ring of Honor on March 13th when we return to suburban St. Louis. Just signed is a one-on-one contest pitting two of Ring of Honor’s best against one another as Roderick Strong has signed to face Jay Briscoe! After months of battle against Larry Sweeney’s Sweet-n-Sour Incorporated, Strong has to be looking forward to a match where he doesn’t have to look over his shoulder and a little sportsmanship will take center stage.

February 20th: Speaking of Sweet-N-Sour, Kevin Steen recently saw the footage of the attack on El Generico that took place after the event in Orlando. The injury to Generico’s knee will keep him out of the very first ROH National Television tapings, but it doesn’t appear that he’ll be on the shelf for too long. Just signed for March 13th in St. Louis is a huge six-man tag team grudge match. Steen and Generico will get a shot at revenge as they will oppose Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards “The American Wolves” and the returning Chris Hero. Teaming with Steen and Generico will be the man that recently freed himself from the torment of Sweeney and Company – Bobby Dempsey! There is plenty of bad blood to go around in this one!

February 20th: ROH officials are currently in negotiations to bring a number of International competitors to Ring of Honor. There have been ongoing talks with up-and-coming Mexican talents, and we hope to have an announcement in the next couple of weeks. In addition, several phone calls have been exchanged with the representatives of a very high profile talent looking to make his return to ROH. More on these developments as they occur.

February 20th: Just signed for March 14th at ROH’s debut in Indianapolis is a rematch from Final Battle 2008. Claudio Castagnoli looks to continue his winning ways in 2009 as he’ll take on the man that defeated him in New York in December, Kenny Omega! “Omega is a flash in the pan,” said Claudio. “He got lucky at Final Battle, but 2009 is the year of the Most Money Making Man. I will show the Canadian why I’m the fastest rising star in ROH. I’m Claudio Castagnoli, and I’m very European.” Don’t forget that Claudio and Brent Albright will lock horns on 2/27 in Danbury coming off of their controversial finish in Detroit in January.

February 20th: You can now save 25% off your next order that you place at www.rohwrestling.com. This sale is good on almost all items listed on the ROH website. For complete sale instructions along with the discount code click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2215.

February 20th: The former Prince Nana has sent ROH officials a certified letter, apparently claiming that he soon will make an announcement that will “send shockwaves through the entire Ring of Honor locker room”. ROH officials have ejected Nana from several ROH live events recently, and are unsure of his status at this point. Nana once managed the powerful “Embassy”, but since that faction dissolved has not been active in ROH. ROH officials refused comment.

February 20th: The second of the six inaugural television main events to be shot on Saturday, February 28 at the Arena in Philadelphia is signed. Fans in attendance on 2/28 will see ROH World Champion, Nigel McGuinness; once again take on former ROH World Tag Team Champion, Jay Briscoe in singles action. Both men have been staples of Ring of Honor for some time, and both men have earned this honor. McGuinness bested Briscoe back on January 30th in Detroit in a great back-and-forth contest, but that hasn’t seemed to dent the confidence of the elder Briscoe. Two pioneers of ROH; showing what brought ROH to the dance in the second TV main event in company history. Get your tickets now at www.rohwrestling.com. We are currently running a sale on tickets for both Philly events where ticket prices have been reduced 25% each on the website, plus you can save an additional 25% off when you use the sale listed above. This is a great opportunity to see history made, at a discounted price. Don't be left out when HDNet brings ROH to National Television!

February 23rd Newswire

February 23rd: We’re less than a week away as this Saturday, February 28th, marks the very first National Television taping for Ring of Honor and HDNet! This is your chance to be a part of history; tickets are still available for the tapings on Saturday and Sunday. You can save money when you order your tickets in advance at ROHWrestling.com. Right now you can save 25% off almost anything you order from the website plus tickets for both nights of the TV Taping have been reduced by 25%. Combine both specials to save almost 50% off the original ticket price. For complete details on the sale click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2215. Sale ends Thursday morning at 9am EST.

February 23rd: In case you missed the article on the main page http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2637, Ring of Honor will tape "Take No Prisoners" for Pay-Per-View on Saturday, April 4th as part of the huge weekend of events in Houston, TX! ROH Officials are happy to announce that as part of the weekend festivities, we will see the debut of Mexican Freelance stars Incognito and Magno! These two have been featured in matches together all over the world, and now they will bring their unique athleticism to Ring of Honor! As if that wasn’t enough, we will also see the ROH debut of another wrestling legend in Houston! Lucha Libre legend and current NWA Champion, Blue Demon, Jr. will be on hand for both events! We’ll have more talent and match announcements as we move forward.

February 23rd: The third of the first six Television main events has been signed and it will feature two of the biggest names in ROH history. Both men are former ROH World Champions and have had some the biggest following in company history. And now ROH Officials have agreed that they should lock horns on National Television. Bryan Danielson versus Austin Aries. That’s a main event anywhere in the wrestling world, and we’re proud to be bringing it to National TV!

February 23rd: The World Tag Team Titles will be defended when ROH debuts in Indianapolis on March 14th! Kevin Steen and El Generico are the epitome of “fighting champions” and on 3/14 they’ll face the challenge of Kenny King and Rhett Titus! King and Titus are untested against competition of this caliber, but Kevin Steen commented, “Do they deserve a title match? Have they proved themselves? Maybe not to some. But that won’t stop Generico and me from defending the titles where ever we can. And they signed the open contract. Sure, we could’ve made it non-title, but what kind of debut would that be? We’re coming into Indy as fighting champions, and we’ll leave as fighting champions!”

February 23rd: Also signed for Indianapolis on March 14th is a singles contest between Jay Briscoe and Chris Hero! Briscoe is looking to take out anyone in Sweet-N-Sour Incorporated as revenge for his fallen brother, and Hero apparently drew the shortest lot. But Hero is fresh off a successful tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH where he received the training of a lifetime, and he’s waiting for the fight. March 14th can’t get here soon enough!

February 23rd: We'll have comments from "Nature Boy" Ric Flair on his upcoming appearance in suburban St. Louis on March 13th in the next edition of the ROH Video Wire.

A Letter from Kevin Steen

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Last night ROH officials received the following email from ROH World Tag Champion Kevin Steen along with a note to post this on the website as soon as possible.

So the Florida weekend was supposed to be a great one for myself and Generico.

We got to hang out in the sun while everyone back home were forced to shovel their cars out of the snow. We got to go to Disney World, which was a life long dream of Generico’s. And we got to prove ourselves as competitors not only in a tag team match but in singles matches as well.

In Coral Springs, we defeated the Dark City Fight Club, who to their credit, gave us a hell of a fight but in the end, we showed everyone exactly why we are the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Champions. The next night in Orlando, I got to slap the taste out of Davey Richards’ mouth, and slap another loss to Sweet N’ Sour’s record by scoring a pinfall over Sweeney’s golden boy. Then I sat back and watched as Generico obtained what had to be his biggest singles victories to date when he defeated the Best in the World, Bryan Danielson. So a great weekend it was. Up until then…

When I told Generico to hurry up and get dressed because we were going to miss our flight, not to mention the fact that he is repulsive with no clothes on, he told me he wanted to stay for one more day and go back to Magic Kingdom so he could get his picture taken with one of the Seven Dwarfs. I already had my picture with the Seven Dwarfs, so I left, got on the plane and reflected on what seemed like a perfect couple of days…only to find out when I landed in Montreal that Generico never made it to Magic Kingdom to get that picture with a dwarf because he was attacked by someone after I left.

Davey, I know you’re smart. I also know why you picked that time and place to take Generico out. Sure, the fact that I was gone made it pretty easy but how convenient is it that the first weekend where I could get my hands on you for some revenge, your little agent has you booked on a tour of Japan…

Well you know what Davey, you go out there and you enjoy yourself! Eat some sushi, drink some sake, maybe even catch an STD from a hooker paid for by your buddy Sweeney…do your thing! Just remember, when you come back…I am going to break your neck.

Until then, I get to take out my frustrations, this Friday in Danbury, CT, on your little Sweet N’ Sour buddies, Hero and Edwards. And my partner is none other than Jay Briscoe.

Now when I called Jay and asked him to be my partner, I got the exact answer I was expecting... “Hell No! Go **** Yourself!”

What was a little more surprising was when he called me back a few minutes later and told me that if this was going to make us even for coming out in NYC when the Wolves were attacking him and his brother, then he’d do it.

So there you have it, for the first time, probably the last, the unthinkable will happen. Steen and Briscoe team up, not because we like each other but because we HATE Sweet N’ Sour Inc!

Oh, and that unthinkable thing I just mentioned…it’s not us teaming. Sure, that’s pretty shocking, but what’s really unthinkable is what we’re going to do to Chris Hero and Eddie Edwards when we get our hands on them!

February 24th Newswire

February 24th: ROH officials were contacted earlier this morning by the Pro Wrestling NOAH office to inquire as to the upcoming availability of ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness for a return to Japan. Apparently following his victory over Naomichi Marufuji at “Final Battle 2008”, the arrogant McGuinness went to NOAH representative Ryu Nakata and laid out an open challenge for any member of the NOAH roster to face him for his ROH World Title. Stay tuned to ROHWrestling.com for more on this story as it develops.

February 24th: Just signed for St. Louis on March 13th is a tag team
match pitting Kenny King and “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus against Irish Airborne. Titus and King are facing the ROH World Tag Team Champions – Kevin Steen and El Generico – the next night at the ROH debut in Indianapolis in the biggest match of their ROH careers. Do you think they could they possibly overlook the vastly underrated Airborne?

February 24th: Speaking of Indianapolis, a huge dream tag team main event has been signed. After going to a spectacular time limit draw in Detroit, Tyler Black has an even greater respect for Jerry Lynn. Nigel McGuinness obviously has no respect for either Black or Lynn; referring to them as “Geritol” and Tylenol”. Both Black and Lynn requested a tag team match for the ROH debut in Indianapolis, and McGuinness has responded – by selecting Austin Aries as his partner. Black wants Aries in the worst way. Lynn and McGuinness have no love lost. Indianapolis is in for a fight!

February 24th: The top two female wrestlers to emerge from the St. Louis wrestling scene in recent years will clash over the SHIMMER Championship when ROH returns to the Gateway Center on March 13th. SHIMMER Champion "Your Soul's Tormentor" MsChif will put the title on the line against her former ally Daizee Haze! This bout was originally scheduled to take place at ROH's St. Louis area debut, but had to be postponed when MsChif was sidelined with an injury. Now that she is back at 100%, MsChif, fighting at the side of Jimmy Jacobs and the Age of the Fall, will attempt to hold onto her title against a very determined woman who would like nothing more than to see Jimmy Jacobs' "movement" destroyed. There is no more fitting location for The Haze to challenge for the SHIMMER Championship than right in her old stomping grounds of St. Louis, and it will happen on March 13th!

February 24th: A huge grudge tag team match has been signed for March 20th, just outside of Pittsburgh! The Age of the Fall has made no bones about their desire to destroy The Necro Butcher and Tyler Black. In Orlando, Jacobs blasted Tyler with a chair and caused an AOTF loss via disqualification. That hasn’t sat well with Necro and Tyler, both of whom want Jacobs’ blood on their hands. ROH Officials have made the match – Tyler Black and the Necro Butcher will face Jimmy Jacobs and Brodie Lee in an anything goes FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE BRAWL!

February 24th: Don't forget you save 25% Off your next order placed at www.rohwrestling.com until Thursday morning at 9am EST. For complete details on the sale, along with the discount code click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2215.

February 24th: The 4th of 6 inaugural TV main events is set for the Sunday HDNet taping at the Arena in South Philly. Jerry Lynn has been a huge inspiration to so many competitors since his return to prominence in ROH. Not only inside the ring - but in everyday life. ROH Officials are very happy to give Jerry a television main event; one the company feels he deserves in the building that made him famous. ROH Officials have also gone a step further and have given him the chance to choose who he will face. Jerry has selected someone a bit unexpected, and that man is the mammoth Brodie Lee! “I know he’s affiliated with Jacobs and his insanity,” said Lynn. “But here’s a guy that could have such a bright future if he’d get his head on straight. And if he can’t or won’t do it himself, and if he’s not sick of Necro punching the hell out of him yet, then maybe I can take a shot at him. Maybe I can show him what he’s really made of or, better yet, what he can be.”

Multi-Time GHC Champion Makes His ROH Return

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

ROH, in conjunction with Pro Wrestling NOAH, is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of multi-time GHC champion KENTA to Ring of Honor.

Roughly 16 months since the last time he competed inside an ROH ring, former 2-Time GHC Jr. & 2-Time GHC Jr. Tag Champion KENTA will return to ROH competition for four upcoming events: Elizabeth, PA on March 20th, NYC on March 21st, and Houston, TX on April 3rd & 4th.

Since his historic debut match at “Final Battle 2005” against Low Ki, KENTA has wowed the fans of Ring of Honor with his hard-hitting action packed style and has stolen the show on numerous occasions. From his epic collisions with Bryan Danielson at “Glory by Honor V, N.2” and “Driven”, to his forgotten classic with Matt Sydal at “The Bitter End”, up to his last ROH battle with the legendary Misawa at “Glory by Honor VI, N.2”; KENTA has competed in some of the most memorable matches in ROH history.

Now KENTA makes his way back to the United States to face off with the best ROH has to offer. These four events may be your only opportunity to see the Japanese superstar compete in the United States this year so be sure to get your tickets for one of these three cities, Elizabeth, NYC, and Houston, right here at www.rohwrestling.com. Don’t miss out!

February 25th Newswire

February 25th: In case you missed it, KENTA is coming back to Ring of Honor! As explained in the main page article http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2641, ROH, in conjunction with Pro Wrestling NOAH, is bringing back the multi-time GHC Champion for four dates: Elizabeth, PA on March 20th, NYC on March 21st, and Houston, TX on April 3rd & 4th. We will have more on KENTA’s match announcements for these four events soon. Don't forget you can save 25% off on all live event tickets, or almost anything else we sell at www.rohwrestling.com until Thursday morning. Details are posted on the main page.

February 25th: A huge Four Corner Survival match has been signed for March 13th, just outside of St. Louis. Austin Aries made some very insulting comments toward Silas Young in Detroit in January. And while Young came up short in that match-up, he advised the ROH booking committee that he wants an opportunity to avenge the words that Aries spewed about his family. Meanwhile, even as Claudio Castagnoli and Kenny Omega will lock horns as part of ROH’s debut in Indianapolis, Kenny Omega heard the comments that Claudio made about him in the 2/20 edition of the Newswire. “Claudio calls me a flash in the pan,” said the charismatic Omega. “That’s just fine by me, because I beat him once, and I’ll beat him in Indy, and why not, I’ll beat him at the Gateway Center as well!” It’s Castagnoli, Omega, Young, and Aries on March 13th!

February 25th: ROH officials have recently been in contact with a member of the AAA roster recently about coming in for the huge debut weekend of events in Houston on April 3th and 4th. More on this next week as it develops.

February 25th: If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the latest ROH Videowire at http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=Ri4B323H1uA! Part 4 of the poignant Jerry Lynn interview is available. If you would like to see more “sit down” style interviews with ROH stars in the future, let us know who and we’ll do our best to make it happen. That interview plus Lynn in action from ROH’s recent Florida swing is part of the Wire, as well as comments from D’Lo Brown and the legendary “Nature Boy” himself, Ric Flair, calls out Larry Sweeney!?

February 25th: The 5th of the 6 Television Main Events has been signed, and it features two men that have been connected by recent animosity. Claudio Castagnoli and Brent Albright have had several “wars of words” and a lot of controversy as of late, but that aside, ROH officials feel they are two of the most physically gifted competitors ever to set foot in an ROH ring. Add that to their recent happenings, including their grudge rematch on 2/27 in Danbury, and this qualifies as a TV main event!

February 25th: We have the first match announcement for the ROH 7th Year Anniversary Celebration on March 21st in New York City! The ROH World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Kevin Steen and El Generico will face the American Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. And there is plenty of hate and bad blood to go around in this one, capped recently by Davey Richards attack on El Generico’s knee in Orlando. Now, ROH officials understand that order cannot be kept when the boiling point has already been reached between these four men. With that in mind, the ROH Booking Committee has decided that this match will be contested under “No Disqualification” rules!

February 26th Newswire

February 26th: Ring of Honor kicks off an historic weekend starting tomorrow (Friday) night in Danbury, CT at the Danbury Police Athletic League Building, 35 Hayestown Road, Danbury, CT 06811. The event starts at 8:00 PM. The show features an ROH World Title Elimination Match with Nigel McGuinness defending vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Tyler Black vs. Jimmy Jacobs; ROH World Tag Team Champion Kevin Steen & Jay Briscoe vs. Chris Hero & Eddie Edwards with Larry Sweeney in a Grudge Tag Team Match; Bryan Danielson vs. Delirious; Brent Albright vs. Claudio Castagnoli; The Necro Butcher vs. Brodie Lee in an Anything Goes Street Fight; plus more. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door on the night of the show.

February 26th: The inaugural TV tapings for Ring of Honor on HDNet take place THIS WEEEKEND in Philadelphia, PA at The Arena (former New Alhambra Arena/ECW Arena), 7 Ritner Street, with a zip code of 19148. The event on Saturday night starts at 7:30 PM. The show on Sunday has a special 3 PM bell time. This is it, perhaps the most important weekend in ROH history as HDNet and ROH present the first National Television tapings in our 7-year company history! Don’t be left out as we tape the first 6 weeks of the brand new television series, which debuts on HDNet on March 21st! Scheduled to appear this weekend in Philadelphia are: ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness, Bryan Danielson, ROH World Tag Team Champion Kevin Steen, Jerry Lynn, The Necro Butcher, Tyler Black, Jay Briscoe, Chris Hero & Eddie Edwards with Larry Sweeney, Austin Aries, Brent Albright, Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee of The Age of the Fall, Kenny King, Rhett Titus, & more. Tickets for both events will be available to purchase at the door on the day/night of the show.

February 26th: We’re happy to announce the 6th and final TV main event to be taped this Sunday at the Arena in South Philly, and it pits two of ROH’s best against one another. Bryan Danielson versus Tyler Black. What more needs to be said!? You DON’T want to miss your opportunity to be on National Television with ROH for the first time! If this match doesn’t personify the “ROH 101” concept and give a huge taste of the style and action that new fans can come to expect from Ring of Honor on HDNet, nothing will. Come down to the Arena this Saturday and Sunday, as ROH and HDNet look to kick off a long-term relationship, and we want each and every one of you along for the ride!

February 26th: ROH officials have been told to expect a visit from Prince Nana at some point this weekend, and he’s apparently coming to “talk business”.

February 26th: ROH Officials are happy to announce that “M-Dogg” Matt Cross will return to action on March 20th in suburban Pittsburgh! He will team with his former Resilience teammate, Erick Stevens, to face the brash Kenny King and Rhett Titus in a contest of two teams made up of supreme athleticism, power, and according to Titus, “dependable thrust that you can trust”. Can M-Dogg make a splash in his return? Will King and Titus enter the ring in Pittsburgh the newly crowned World Tag Team Champions?

February 26th: Just signed for ROH’s 7th Anniversary Celebration at the Hammerstein Ballroom on March 21st are two matches that would main event anywhere in the country! D’Lo Brown looks to continue to impress ROH officials and fans as he has signed to face Jay Briscoe in Manhattan! “Man, I got all kind of respect for D’Lo," said Jay. “And it’s an honor to face him in NYC. But D’Lo, I gotta warn you, this is ROH, and in ROH it’s simple. Man up, or get out.” Also signed for singles action is “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush! Quackenbush, making his return to ROH, will be locking up with Jerry Lynn! “I grew to love watching Jerry Lynn perform,” said Quack. “And to see his revival of sorts in ROH has been refreshing; it’ll be great to test myself against Jerry and to once again perform for the great ROH fans.”

February 26th: Bryan Danielson sent word to the ROH Booking Committee that he wants Bison Smith in the worst way, and apparently one match isn’t enough. He’s asked to face Bison in both St. Louis on March 13th and on the ROH debut in Indianapolis on March 14th. We have yet to receive word from Bison on whether or not he’ll accept this bold challenge from “the Best in the World”.

Bobo, my complaint is that you're posting results way out of the general flow of the thread. It's like:

Newswire to hype 2/6 & 2/7 followed by 2/27-3/1 results followed by articles that either wrap up 2/7 or preview the forementioned 2/27 weekend shows.

If you want to do cards as they're further announced, I suggest following what I do with RBCW and using the first post as the central "upcoming" show and then post the results after they happen. I wouldn't make a thread that you can edit 2 months later because anyone that's trying to follow along down the line will be really confused.
