August 13th: "Ring of Honor Wrestling" on HDNet will not air this Saturday. If you missed our previous announcement, ROH will now air on Monday's at 8 PM and 11 PM. The action starts this coming Monday night. Don't miss the main event as former World Champion Nigel McGuinness squares off against Tyler Black. For more information visit: http://www.hd.net/ringofhonor.html.
August 13th: Petey Williams has selected his partner to face ROH World Champion Austin Aries and Rhett Titus on September 18th in Dayton, and that man is Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana! Aries was stunned by the news, commenting, “I was sure Williams would have picked Tyler Black. But no sweat, it didn’t matter who he picked, because the equation leads to the same solution: A Double, the MV3, hand held high in victory.” We are still awaiting a decision from ROH officials on Petey’s petition for a singles match against Aries.
August 13th: Speaking of Tyler Black, he’s signed for a special challenge match in Dayton on September 18th. Black will face perhaps the most athletically gifted man ever to compete in Ring of Honor – Claudio Castagnoli! Castagnoli was happy to sign the contract, “When I finish off that buffoon Albright in Philadelphia, it’ll be an example to show Tyler what it means to ‘seal the deal’. I don’t choke, I’m Claudio Castagnoli, and I finish strong because I’m very European. And in Dayton, another inferior wrestler finds out first hand.”

August 13th: The House of Truth impressed when they debuted on the main show when ROH tore through Detroit in June. Now on September 19th, they face a completely different challenge in the form of Erick Stevens and Brent Albright! Can the House of Truth withstand the onslaught of two of the toughest in Ring of Honor? Will Stevens and Albright continue to show the promise as a team that they have in the past? Be there on September 19th and find out! Don’t forget, Bret “Hitman” Hart will be on hand as well! Tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com!
August 13th: Kevin Steen remembers the tortuous battle that he and Davey Richards had at “Never Say Die”. He remembers the blood, sweat, tables, ladders, and the pain that he felt when it was all said and done. But perhaps the thing that he remembers most, the things that he can’t shake, is the vision of Eddie Edwards attacking him in the aisle. It was the quintessential blindsiding typical of the American Wolves and it hasn’t escaped Steen’s mind. Now he’s got his chance for redemption. Signed for September 24th in Boston it will be Kevin Steen versus Eddie Edwards – and like the wild brawl at “Never Say Die” – it will be ANYTHING GOES! Get your tickets now! August 13th: Due to a scheduling issue the Ring of Honor event originally scheduled for the Inman Center in Edison, NJ on Saturday, November 28th will now take place on November 7th. All tickets purchased for the event on 11/28 will be honored on 11/7. The Edison event will now take place as part of a triple header of action as we'll be taping two nights of TV on 11/5 and 11/6 in Philadelphia. August 13th: A special Buy 3, Get 2 Free Sale on all Ring of Honor DVD's is now ongoing at ROHWrestling.com. This sale will also be in effect at both live events this weekend in Philadelphia. August 11th: As announced yesterday on the main page in a story by Holden McNeil (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2939), the biggest rivalry on HDNet comes to Chicago as Bryan Danielson and Tyler Black will meet one-on-one on September 19th. Tyler got the duke in their last encounter, back on May 30th in Philadelphia (aired on HDNet on July 25). With nearly three months to think about the loss, Bryan Danielson is ready to take on Black once again. “I always said one day Tyler would be better than me,” said Dragon. “And on that day he was. But I don’t think Tyler believes he’s better than I am and a lot has happened to him since that show was taped. And we’ll see what effect all of that has had on the 19th in Chicago.”
August 11th: It could be argued that Austin Aries stole a victory from Petey Williams when ROH last rolled through Detroit, and now Williams has reacted – challenging Aries to face him like a man. “I had that match won,” said Petey. “I was this close to earning a title match, and he stole it. If Aries is any kind of man, any kind of champion, he’ll give me a match. He’s knows I can beat him.” Aries, quick with that gift of gab, responded, “Petey Williams hasn’t done anything in ROH to put himself in a position to face me. Sure, if he’d won that scramble in Detroit, he would have. But he didn’t. And the circumstances surrounding it…are HIS problem. I’m A Double, perhaps the greatest that ever lived, and I did what needed to be done. That’s what the great ones do. But I’ll throw Petey a bone because I’m a generous man. Tell Petey to bring a partner to Dayton, and me and “Addicted to Love” will feel him out.” Williams has accepted Aries’ proposal, and it will be Austin Aries & Rhett Titus vs. Petey Williams and a partner of his choosing on September 18th in Dayton, OH! Williams has also petitioned ROH officials for a singles match against A Double, and we will have more on this as it develops.
August 11th: Also signed for Dayton on September 18th is a match that needs no hype. “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero has been on a tear since returning from a very successful tour of Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH. But in Dayton on the 18th he faces a huge test. That test is Bryan Danielson. Tickets are on sale now!
August 11th: Signed for Chicago on September 19th is another match straight from ROH’s stellar tag team division as Matt and Nick Jackson – The Young Bucks – will continue to try and take ROH by storm. These brothers have captivated the wrestling world with their athleticism but on 9/19 they’ll face sheer brutality. That comes in the form of Jon Davis and Kory Chavis – the Dark City Fight Club. The DCFC is looking to once again cement their place in ROH, and a victory over the Bucks will do just that. Come see the future tag team stars of ROH in Chicago. It’s the Young Bucks versus the DCFC on 9/19!
