January 20th: Nigel McGuinness retained the ROH World Title against Go Shiozaki yesterday in Tokyo, Japan at the historic Korakuen Hall. McGuinness sent word that he couldn't be more ready for his Steel Cage World Title Match against Chris Hero this Friday in Dayton. McGuinness says once he finishes off Hero for good, he will silence Roderick Strong this Saturday in Chicago. Strong insists that he will break his World Title curse and finally win the World Title on Saturday. This will easily be Nigel's toughest weekend as Champion, but after defeating Shiozaki and keeping the prestige of the belt high in Japan, he now has momentum.
January 20th: We are sorry to report that The Necro Butcher will not be able to make this Friday's event in Dayton. He will still be in Chicago. Jimmy Jacobs told the Age Of The Fall followers not to despair. Jacobs sent word that he has recently heard from a top talent that is not in ROH that believes in the Age Of The Fall cause. Jacobs says that this man has a reason to hate society. This individual will team with Jacobs in Dayton on Friday against Roderick Strong & Rocky Romero. Jacobs would not give us any other hints as to who it is besides the fact he has been a champion in other promotions, he has a reason to rebel against society and he is not on the current ROH roster. January 20th: Larry Sweeney insists that after Chris Hero wins the World Title in Dayton, he will prove what kind of double champion he is by defending the Intergender Heavyweight Tag Team Titles Of The World with Sara Del Rey on Saturday in Chicago. ROH officials are still not recognizing those Larry Sweeney created titles.
January 20th: Austin Aries will be the special guest for the question & answer session as part of the mini-convention this Friday in Dayton. Aries will be available to answer questions from the fans while the Steel Cage is being set up. There will also be several ROH wrestlers available for autographs in Dayton.

Word leaked out of TAOTF camp that this man is known to national TV audiences.

January 22nd: It is always a big event when ROH returns to the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, IL. This Saturday will be no exception with an epic main event pitting Nigel McGuinness vs. Roderick Strong. If Nigel is still World Champion, the belt will be on the line. If Nigel is not champ then this contest will be held inside the Steel Cage. Strong started to pick this fight last October during Nigel's first interview as ROH World Champion. Now Strong will try to break his World Title curse in Chicago or silence Nigel for good inside the Steel Cage. Here is a look at how the card is shaping up:

January 24th: The Steel Cage is loaded on the ring truck and the crew has left for the big show tomorrow night at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on 1043 S. Main St in Dayton, Ohio with a zip code of 45409. Belltime is 8pm and there will be tickets available at the door. The main event will see Chris Hero vs. Nigel McGuinness in a ROH World Title Steel Cage Match!!! In an interesting development, super agent Larry Sweeney has just negotiated for Hero to tour Pro Wrestling NOAH and miss ROH's 6th Anniversary Show in Manhattan. Hero says when he defeats Nigel that he will defend the belt in Japan on 2/23 instead of in NYC. Sweeney says that ROH better accept all his demands now because once Hero has the belt he will have all the leverage. Will ROH be at the mercy of Sweet & Sour Inc? They also feel they have a huge advantage as it will be nearly impossible for Nigel to execute the Jawbreaker Lariat inside the Steel Cage. The World Title will be in jeopardy in Dayton. There is another new twist on the Dayton show. The FIP World Heavyweight Title Match will now be a one fall Three-Way pitting Champion Erick Stevens vs. Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries. The first man to gain a fall will be your FIP World Heavyweight Champion!!! One more match has also been signed for tomorrow night in Dayton. January 24th: Speaking of The Age Of The Fall, they have been putting out some videos on Youtube that seem to be trying to recruit someone. Tyler Black's blog at AgeOfTheFall.com seems to indicate that this has nothing to do with the mystery guy they have set to debut this weekend. We hope to get some answers in Dayton and Chicago.
