July 22nd: It feels like it has been way too long since ROH has had live shows. We can't wait to return to action this Friday in Toronto and this Saturday in Detroit for a pay-per-view taping. This could potentially be ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness' toughest weekend yet as he is scheduled for two World Title Matches. The Toronto debut will see McGuinness put the belt on the line against Canada's own Kevin Steen. So far, Nigel has had to pull the tights and hold the ropes to beat Steen. Meanwhile, Steen made McGuinness tap in the middle of the ring to the Sharpshooter and he had Nigel beat with the Package Piledriver, but Nigel was too close to the ropes. Steen will definitely have home field advantage in this one. The winner of Toronto will then put the World Title on the line 24 hours later against a very determined Claudio Castagnoli. In fact, Castagnoli has suggested that he will leave ROH is he does not win the belt. July 22nd: The card for this Friday's huge debut in Toronto has been announced. This show is going to be a real event in every sense of the word. Larry Sweeney has signed two more matches for the show with members of Sweet & Sour Inc. for this Friday. Chris Hero vs. Ruckus and Sara Del Rey vs. Jennifer Blake will round out this loaded card. July 22nd: There is a new FIP World Heavyweight Champion. Erick Stevens defeated Roderick Strong in a brutal Dog Collar Match last Saturday in Crystal River, FL to capture the belt for a second time. July 24th: WOW this weekend is big!!! Tomorrow (Friday) will see ROH finally cross the border into Canada for its debut in Toronto (Ted Reeve Arena, 175 Main Street, Ontario M4E 2W2) and then on Saturday ROH will tape PPV #8 in Detroit (Michigan State Fairgrounds & Expo Center, 1120 W. State Fair Ave., MI 48203). Tickets will be available at the door in Toronto & Detroit and belltime each night is 8pm. Lance Storm, a champion in WWE, WCW and ECW, will be in attendance both nights and he will be available for autographs. Storm will be playing an important role behind the scenes helping out the roster. He will also be involved in both the Toronto and Detroit live events including the PPV itself in Detroit. What role will he play on the shows? We'll find out tomorrow in Toronto and in two days in Detroit. What will happen when Lance Storm returns to ROH?
July 24th: THIS SATURDAY IS ROH'S LAST SHOW IN DETROIT IN 2008. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts ROH will not be able to return to Detroit until 2009. Don't miss your last chance to see ROH this year in Motown. We plan to go out with a bang with the PPV taping.
July 24th: The unpredictable nature of ROH's PPVs and the uncertain status of the World Title since it will be defended in Toronto does not make it possible to announce more matches for ROH's pay-per-view taping on Saturday in Detroit. So far ROH is 7-for-7 in delivering on PPV so you know you are guaranteed to see great and intriguing match ups in Motown. There will also be a non-PPV bout involving Kenny Omega. The main event will also be another non-PPV match and it will be something unique. The first ever Honor Rumble will take place!!! It will have a very similar format to WWE's Royal Rumble. The fans of Virginia will have to watch this Detroit main event closely. Why?
July 24th: Attention fans in Virginia!!!!! The winner of the Honor Rumble this Saturday in Detroit will get a World Title Match on 8/1 when ROH returns to Manassas, VA. Who will the challenger be and who will be World Champion after this weekend? There is no telling what World Title Match will take place when it is defended for the first time in Virginia.

July 24th: Ultimate Endurance will make its return to ROH on 8/2 in Manhattan, NY. Fans who have watched "A New Level" on DVD and who were there live knows that there is nothing like ROH in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Now ROH will make an even bigger impact in the Hammerstein on August 2nd in an Ultimate Endurance pitting Jimmy Jacobs & Necro Butcher vs. Jay Briscoe & TBA vs. Ruckus & Jigsaw vs. Pelle Primeau & Mitch Franklin. It is elimination rules and every fall has a different stipulation. The first fall can only be won by getting your opponent to tap out. The second fall is a Tag Team Scramble.
